Ingredients

  • 24 asparagus spears, washed and trimmed
  • 8 slices Parma Ham
  • 15ml (1 tbsp) vegetable oil

Instructions

  1. Cook the asparagus spears in salted boiling water for 2 minutes.
  2. Drain and then refresh them in cold water.
  3. Pat the asparagus dry.
  4. Cut each Parma ham slice lengthwise into 3 even strips.
  5. Wrap each asparagus with one strip of Parma ham.
  6. Heat the oil in a frying pan and gently fry each spear until the ham is crisp and browned.
  7. Serve immediately.
